love is in the air and lots of snow- Pittsburgh Engagement

McConells Mills Winter Engagement Session Pittsburgh Pa LeeAnn

A day before their session I texted Rachel and said: "are you ok with the temp tomorrow?"

The forecast was a warm 17 degrees, and I was a bit nervous about my freezing fingertips falling off.

But Rachel said she and Cain loved the cold weather, so we were in!

The entire week leading up to there session the weather was bit bi-polar. It rained, snowed, melted, & rained again.

With Pittsburgh weather, you never quite know what you are going to get so the concern that we were going to get snowed out was very real.

As I was driving North to McConnells Mills for their session the snow was coming down in a furry, and all I could think was 'crap, this is going to be a mess!'

But it wasn't, and their engagement photos turned out magical. It really was the picture perfect, winter wonderland every couple hopes for when they plan a winter engagement session.

Rachel & Cain met in college through a mutual friend while attending a Balinese dance recital and their favorite way to spend time is hanging out at home and relaxing.

They don't love the camera, but they hammed it up for me for their engagement photos, which you can see they did pretty well below.
