Identifying Beauty Haven Medspa’s Branding Needs
Danka came to me for brand photography, but after about 15 minutes of chatting, we both agreed she needed clarity on her brand before diving into planning her photoshoot.
Her business was bringing in consistent income through Facebook and Instagram ads, but those leads were often tied to a coupon code.
Great for short-term cash flow not so great for long-term client loyalty or bigger revenue potential.
So, we set out to define her differentiating factors and use them to shape her offers.
Danka’s approach to aesthetics is helping women achieve the look they’ve always dreamed of by offering full-face treatment plans.
As a natural listener, she helps women feel safe and seen, taking the time to truly hear their needs.
It’s a clear, powerful approach she should be shouting from the rooftops in her brand messaging but it was completely missing from her website.

So, how did we uncover her unique selling proposition? We started by reviewing past client experiences and identifying her brand values and mission.
Danka isn’t just an aesthetician — she’s someone helping women feel confident and beautiful through non-surgical beauty solutions. Her superpowers? Listening deeply and creating a sense of safety, which naturally builds long-lasting client relationships.
Beauty Haven Medspa’s Unexpected Online Advantage
When we did competitor research, one thing stood out: most med spa websites felt sterile. They lacked a sense of luxury, and their visual design and copy often left a lot to be desired.
For Danka, this meant that with the right website copy and design, she could easily stand out.
How so? By elevating her site design to feel modern, chic, and enjoyable to browse, she would instantly communicate value. Pair that with copy that’s clear and emotionally compelling for her ideal client — someone looking for an aesthetician she can trust and build a relationship with — and saying yes becomes almost effortless.
We identified her five core brand values — honesty, integrity, perseverance, compassion, and expertise — and defined exactly how they show up in her business. From there, we crafted her unique selling proposition, brand positioning statement, and brand voice and tone.
Using these elements, we created a rough website design and draft copy for her to share with her web designer, ensuring the final product would fully align with her brand.

From Conception to Creation: Bringing Beauty Haven’s Brand into Full View
With the foundation in place, it was time to create her visual identity. Danka already had a logo she loved, but she didn’t have brand colors or fonts that supported her visual aesthetic.
We locked in a color palette and typography that aligned with her vision while also mapping out the visuals that would tell her brand story.
Her aesthetic is editorial, minimal, and timeless with a premium, luxurious feel. While most people pin “pretty” images on Instagram to plan their photoshoot, my approach is different: I focus on the details that create the feeling and tell the story.
Our subconscious mind processes huge amounts of visual information in just 7–10 seconds. That information — color, texture, environment, clothing choices, facial expressions — shapes how we feel about something, and 90% of the time we’re unaware it’s even happening.
So we focused on creative concepts and elements that her brands vibe. Below is the creative direction we crafted for her brand. Her brand photoshoot was designed to capture three types of content: portraits, behind the scenes process photos to replace stock photos, and results photos she could use for ads.

Bringing It All Together
An important part of my process is helping clients strategically choose which images will work best for their website and which are better suited for social media or other marketing needs.
Why? Because most people have no idea how to fully leverage their images once they have them. I’ve seen gorgeous brand photos sit on a hard drive, unused, simply because the client wasn’t sure how or where to put them to work.
