Before we ever picked up a camera, we dug deep into Nikole’s business through my Brand Discovery Questionnaire - a core part of my brand strategy process. This phase gave us a crystal-clear understanding of who she serves, how she works, and what makes her approach to consulting unique.

Nikole defined her brand values - joy, creativity, and purpose and mapped out vivid client personas that guided our messaging and visuals. Her dream? To be seen as a creative facilitator and thought partner for leaders navigating growth, burnout, or change.

With a long-term goal of opening a physical creative space and a short-term plan to attract aligned clients, it was clear her brand needed to feel both visionary and grounded.

Once her authentic brand strategy was in place, we translated it into a detailed mood board and shot list. Nikole had expressed a strong connection to bold aesthetics and especially the color teal - representing trust, depth, and creativity. This wasn’t just a favorite color, it became a thread through her entire visual identity.

As a personal brand photographer in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, I prioritize locations and setups that feel aligned with each client’s story. For Nikole, we chose a light-filled, modern creative space that could echo the studio she envisions building one day. We leaned into warmth, expression, and intentionality.

The Photoshoot Experience

Nikole arrived for her brand photoshoot with wardrobe pieces and props that reflected her work: journals, colorful accessories, and tools she uses to spark dialogue and transformation with her clients. We captured her in flow—writing, speaking, reflecting—and laughing, too. Those in-between moments revealed her approachable and grounded energy.
