Creative Images That Tell a Story for a Letterpress Business

We broke her personal brand shoot down like this:

  • Lifestyle Studio Portraits

  • Creation — Designing & Type Setting

  • Mixing Inks & The Printing Process

  • Binding and Packaging

PREPARING FOR HER SHOOT

Preparing for a brand photoshoot is A LOT of work when done right.

A great brand photographer handles the majority of the planning so you know exactly what you need for a successful shoot.

I always recommend my clients schedule their brand sessions during a slower season to avoid overwhelm.

SCHEDULING HER SESSION

We scheduled Lindsay's session in the mid-morning to catch the beautiful natural sunlight that fills her studio.

Her session was about four hours, and we wrapped up with lifestyle portraits. Brand shoots vary in length depending on your needs.

My sessions are a minimum of four hours because I prefer to have time for creativity. Longer sessions also allow us to capture a full range of images that truly tell the complete story of your business.

If you're new to brand photography and trying to decide what to look for in a photographer, I wrote a blog post on what to look for when hiring a brand photographer that's worth a read.

PICKING THE FINAL IMAGES

After the session, Lindsay was able to go through the entire gallery of unedited images and choose the ones she absolutely loved.

For clients who want help selecting the best images for their website and marketing needs, we do this together during a post-photoshoot content strategy session - a service included for all my brand clients, because you deserve to get the most out of these images!

If you're a Pittsburgh-area business owner ready to show up online with confidence, I'd love to be your brand photographer. Let's chat about what your shoot could look like.
